TCSH (and CSH) are a family of shells which resemble the C programming language which allowed for some conventional use of the earlier Unix platforms. However, many of the features that are beneficial in tcsh and Csh have been implemented in either bash or Zsh. The default shell for many Linux distributions is bash and ARCC recommends that as the primary shell. However, below you can find some additional information on using either of these shells on ARCC HPC clusters.
